The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society (LVHS) recently announced its annual Soup-to-Go Sale and 50-50 raffle fundraisers are now underway. Proceeds benefit the programs and operations of the LVHS museum and research library dedicated to preserving, understanding and sharing local history and genealogy.
The Soup Sale features four choices of soups for $13 per quart by pre-order only, with pickup from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. November 5 at the LVHS, 8346 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster. People can also donate the cost of a quart to help fight local hunger while supporting the historical society. LVHS will share a portion of each financial donation with the Healthy Harvest Food Bank to provide meals to community residents in need.
