The Northumberland County Historical Society 2024 annual meeting will convene at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 27, at the Ball Memorial Library and Museum, 86 Back Street, Heathsville.
This event is free and open to both members and the public, reported Richard W. Covington.
Following a brief business session, educator and pastor Rev. Dr. Randolph Meade Walker will present “The Heroic Homemaker: Ella Fallin Walker, 1881-1970.”
After a lunch break, the meeting will reconvene at 1:30 p.m. for a presentation by documentary filmmaker Mark Huffman entitled “Capturing Local History with Video.”
