The Northumberland County Historical Society recently announced its spring program for 2:30 p.m. April 7 at Ball Memorial Library and Museum, 86 Back Street, Heathsville. Marilyn Iglesias will present “Our Dearest of Captains,” a one-woman show on Sally Tompkins, Confederate Civil War nurse.
