The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society-Mary Ball Washington Museum & Library will host “A Holiday Afternoon at Ditchley” from 1-4 p.m. December 9, at Ditchley, 1571 Ditchley Road, Kilmarnock.
The event will include house tours, cider tastings, wine, hors d’oeuvres and dessert treats at the 17th-century ancestral property of the Lee, Ball and duPont families, recently restored and re-opened by Cathy Calhoun as Ditchley Cider Works.
