Holly Ball debs’ service project aids CASA

KILMARNOCK—Throughout its rich history, dating back to 1895, The Holly Ball, the fundraising arm of the Tidewater Foundation, has given generously to local communities.

It is through the generosity of those supporting the ball that proceeds generated through ticket sales at its annual holiday gala are distributed to myriad recipients, reported publicity committee member Patricia Gallagher.

In recent years, in the spirit of further giving back to the community, the committee of The Holly Ball recognized the need for a community service project to be led by the reigning queen, who identifies a charity of her choice that reflects her philanthropic passion, said Gallagher.
