Hometown heroes will be honored at Irvington’s July 4th parade, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Sunday on King Carter Drive.
The parade will recognize five area residents who have made significant contributions to the community and the nation through a variety of activities, including humanitarian works, business operations and military service. The honorees are Jimmie Carter, Jimmy Jackson, Bill Mitchell, Norm Mosher and Tom Parrish.
