Honoring veterans

On Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, Reedville American Legion Post 117 conducted a ceremony honoring all military veterans at the Post Monument in Roseland Cemetery.  A color guard representing veterans from the American Revolution, War of 1812 and today’s Armed Forces presented the various flags. The event included opening remarks on the importance of honoring our veterans, the sharing of military experiences by post members and guests, and prayers for the safety of American military men and women defending the world, reported George Beckett.
