LANCASTER—Howard Thomas Courtney Jr., 91, of Lancaster passed away on February 11, 2018. He was a World War II Army veteran and a retired farmer.
He is survived by his sons, Dan Courtney (Janet) and Glenn Courtney; daughter, Jennifer Allen; brothers, Roland, Cecil and David Courtney; and a sister, Mary Sue Courtney.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vashti Belfield Courtney; and son, Clayton Courtney.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 15, at Corrottoman Baptist Church, Ottoman. Interment will follow the service at Corrottoman Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
