The recent Crushing Cancer Fundraiser, an annual event held by Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club (ICYCC), raised $100,000 in support of the Rappahannock General Hospital Outpatient Infusion Center (OPIC).
With over 240 participants in weekend activities, members rallied around the effort to raise $30,000 to be matched by an anonymous donor, reported membership director Megan Stephens.
“We could not have imagined going into the final event, the Sunday banquet, with over $63,000 in hand before the last leg of activities even began,” said Stephens.
