Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club (ICYCC) marked the beginning of the 2026 racquet program by hosting four nationally-ranked professional and college level players on Saturday, January 3.
According to ICYCC director of racquet sports George Christoforatos, the players “showcased power, speed, touch and incredible tennis” to more than 50 the club members.
“The four horsemen played tennis, featuring singles, doubles in a Davis Cup format. Then they played some Pro Am doubles with some of our membership. What a great day of tennis at ICYCC,” said Christoforatos.
The visiting players included Sam Dively, Ilyas Fahim, Zavin Fahim and Shari Saeed.
Dively worked at ICYCC as an assistant pro before Christoforatos urged him to go pro. A D1 player at Elon….
