Incumbents dominate local ballots for November 7 election

KILMARNOCK—Following the June 20 filing deadline, local ballots for the November 7 general election have come together with a number of incumbents running unopposed.

In addition to state senator and delegate, voters in Lancaster and Northumberland counties will choose soil and water board district directors, Constitutional officers, and three members of the boards of supervisors and school boards.

At the state level, independent Richard W. Kenski, Republican Hilary Pugh Kent and Democrat Dr. John Q. Smith are seeking the House of Delegates District 67 seat.

Republican Sen. Richard H. Stuart and Democrat Jolicia A. Ward are seeking the Senate District 25 seat.
