Turnovers and big plays highlighted the Northumberland homecoming victory over Lancaster on Friday, October 17. The Indians scored five fourth-quarter touchdowns to blow open a four-point lead and run away with a 48-8 win over the Red Devils.
The win gives the Indians a 5-2 record with three weeks left in the regular season. The Devils remain winless in competition at 1-6, collecting a win by forfeit.
Northumberland held the Devils to 81 total yards of offense including 71 on the ground and 10 in the air with Brooks Parker the only rusher with positive yards. Parker had 16 carries for 102 yards including the Devils’ only touchdown on….
