Indians hand JV Red Devils their first loss

Northumberland on Wednesday, October 15, beat the Red Devils, 38-8, for Lancaster’s first junior varsity football loss this season.

Clement Williams scored the only LHS touchdown on a 52-yard, first-down run late in the third quarter.

The Indians, up 18-0 at the half, had possession all but a few seconds in the third to score on a 16-yard pass from Wayne Woods to Phillip Weldon on a third down conversion then recovered the ensuing kickoff to set up a 21-yard TD pass from Woods to Kaiden Nguyen for a 32-0 lead.

Lancaster (4-1) will host Westmoreland on Wednesday, October 22.
