Chesapeake Academy recently held its Inward Bound Middle School Retreat, an overnight experience for students and faculty members.
Students participate in group problem solving activities, games, contests and reflections, reported head of school Julianne T. Duvall. Activities, centered on the annual character theme of connection, build a sense of community, explore ideas of connection applicable to middle school students and connect the theme of trust to advisory topics of transition, friendship, self-discovery and leadership.
