Irvington Baptist celebrates Women’s Day

The Irvington Baptist “In Touch Sisters” recently celebrated 29 years of mission service to their church, their community and abroad by hosting Women’s Day and conducting the morning worship service.

Irvington Baptist Church (IBC) celebrated Women’s Day on September 15. The worship service was conducted by members of the IBC “In Touch Sisters” Mission Group (IBITS).

The guest speaker was Juana Mikels of Raleigh, N.C., who co-founded T2, a Christian mentor ministry for Raleigh women, reported IBITS member Hazel Farmer. Along with leading Bible Study groups, Mikels travels and speaks about the difference Christ makes in all aspects of life and particularly in marriage and family.
