Irvington considers $483,950 budget for fiscal year 2021-22

IRVINGTON—The budget and finance committee presented a proposed fiscal year 2021-22 budget to the Irvington Town Council during a work session Thursday, April 22.

Council member and committee chairman Frances Westbrook said the town is expecting $483,950 in total revenues, compared to the $312,790 budgeted for the current fiscal year.

Much of the increase in the projected revenue is due to more money coming in from the occupancy tax, which is projected at $209,000, more than double the $98,000 for 2020-21.
