Irvington planners hear committee reports

IRVINGTON—The Irvington Planning Commission stays focused on traffic concerns.

On Tuesday, July 1, commission member Marston Smith of the public safety and traffic calming committee noted traffic calming and overall speed limit suggestions were topics for conversation.

The primary areas for traffic calming are the main stretch of King Carter Drive and Irvington Road, he said.

Mayor Julie Harris noted these spots are primarily where the town’s off-duty deputies typically patrol.
