Irvington posts Holiday Lights winners

IRVINGTON—The Town of Irvington recently released the winners of its 2017 Holiday Lights Contest.

According to town clerk and treasurer Sharon L. Phillips, residential winners included first, Frank and Mary Ellen Tetrick, 354 King Carter Drive; second, Ronnie Crockett, 40 The Lane; and third, Tim and Stephanie Self, 100 Dawson Lane.

Honorable mention was awarded to Pete Thompson, Steamboat Road; David and Debbie Stosch, 423 King Carter Drive; Walter and Barbara Nennery, 333 Chesapeake Drive; Susan Johnson, 10 Cedardale Lane; and Rannie and Teresa Ransone, 424 King Carter Drive.

Business winners included first, Chesapeake Academy; second, Hubbard, Terry & Britt Law Firm; and third, Fore & Aft.

On behalf of the town, Phillips issued “a very big thank you to Karen Feuerman for organizing this year’s Holiday Lights Contest and for chauffeuring the judges.”

She also thanked the judges, Patty Thorne, Carol Winter Allen and Nancy B. von Merveldt.
