On Sunday, June 26, Irvington United Methodist Church honored its scholarship recipient for 2022, Chyra Boyd.
She received a $1,000 scholarship that will be sent to the college she will attend in the fall. Boyd also received a handmade quilt by Sue Dameron, representing the Commonwealth of Virginia, reported Audrey Lowery.
Boyd will enter college as a second semester sophomore because of her accelerated studies. She recently graduated from….
