It’s beginning to look like a carnival

Preparations have begun for the 86th Kilmarnock Firemen’s Festival July 29 through August 7. The festival will be held nightly, except Sunday, at the Kilmarnock Carnival Grounds, 200 Waverly Avenue, Kilmarnock.

The Ferris wheel has received a fresh coat of paint, according to KVFD vice president Ray Lewis. The carnival also will have two new rides…
