Isabell Marie “Izzy” Dew recently received the Chesapeake Academy 2024 Pamela I. Herrell Athletics Award.
This award recognizes the eighth-grade girl whose athletic accomplishments distinguish her among her peers. Set against the academy’s high standards for athletic conduct, the Pamela I. Herrell Athletic Award recognizes a student who has represented the school well, by demonstrating excellent character and outstanding athleticism.
Dew is “a steadfast member and leader of the CA volleyball and basketball teams,” said athletic director Jane Allen.
