ST STEPHENS CHURCH—Janice Elaine Alexander, 74, departed this life on September 7, 2020, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Bobbie.
She is survived by her children, Bobby Ray (Lucy), Eugene (Alice), Michelle Southern (Tommy), Kimberly Cunliffe (Stephen) and Cynthia Hill; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including a devoted grandson, J.T.; and a special caregiver and friend, Becky Gaskins.
She retired from Lawson-Marriott Elementary School after nearly 30 years of service.
A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated to help find a cure.
