Purities & Absurdities, a thirteen-and-a-half foot tall sculpture by John Latell of Weems, was installed Friday, September 4, at Menokin Artscape as part of the historical landmark’s celebration of the country’s 250th birthday.
Latell is one of three sculptors showing at Menokin Artscape through September 2027. The two other participating sculptors are Lynda Andrews-Barry of Washington, D.C., and Yoland Hoskey of Brooklyn, N.Y.
