WHITE STONE—John P. George Jr. of White Stone passed away September 4, 2017, at Riverside Tappahannock Hospital, with his family by his side.
He was born September 19, 1953.
He is survived by his mother, Mary H. Harris of Warsaw; father and stepmother J.P. and Alma George of White Stone; daughters, Jennifer George and Dawn Jett; son John R. George; sisters Norma Dean and Brenda Royal; brothers, Arnold George and wife, Tina, and Aaron George and wife, Beth; six grandchildren; five nieces; four nephews; and many friends.
Johnny loved to fish, watch wrestling and “The Walking Dead.” He worked on the water but was a house painter by trade.
He lived most of his life in White Stone.
A memorial service will be at a later date. Cremation was by B.W. White.
