KILMARNOCK—John Wesley Kennedy Jr., 70, formerly of Greensboro, N.C., and a well-loved resident at the Lancashire Convalescent Center in Kilmarnock since 2007, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2018.
Visitation was held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 13, at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel, 515 North Elm Street, Greensboro. A funeral service was at 2 p.m. The interment followed at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
He was predeceased by his parents, John W. Kennedy and Melva D. Kennedy of Greensboro.
He is survived by his sisters Marcia Kennedy Billups (Andrew) and Melva Kennedy Greene (Randy).
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Hospice of Virginia in memory of John Wesley Kennedy, Jr.
