Johnson’s arm, Bean’s bat lead JV Lady Devils

Lancaster gathered back-to-back wins over Essex in a double header at Dream Fields last Tuesday and picked up a non-district victory over Mathews last Monday to improve to 6-2 overall in junior varsity softball.

Braelyn Johnson was in the circle to collect all three wins for the Lady Devils.

She fanned six batters on May 17 in Lancaster’s 6-5 win over Mathews. She also hit a single and double in the outing.

Ayla Saunders, Alexis Franklin and Jocelyn Hasson hit two singles each to help….[to-view-more]
