Journey to Cooperstown: Kamden Horn and Brendan Beuchelt’s baseball dream

From July 1-7, Kamden Horn and Brendan Beuchelt of Lancaster embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to Cooperstown, N.Y., to compete in a youth baseball tournament.

Representing the Richmond Braves Snyder team, these 12-year-old athletes found that playing in Cooperstown is more than just a competition; it is a dream realized, a rite of passage and an indelible mark on their budding baseball careers, reported Krystal Horn.

Cooperstown, often hailed as the birthplace of baseball, is home to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.
