
WHITE STONE—June Marie Steel, 79, of White Stone passed away on January 25, 2019.
She was president of Little Bay Fish Company, a member of White Stone United Methodist Church and a retired U.S. Postal employee.
June was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an excellent cook of which she truly enjoyed and loved to do gardening and take care of her flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Steel; daughter, Amy Langford of Tappahannock; two sons, Steven W. Hinson of White Stone and Clinton Wade Steel of Reedville; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Hall of Edwardsville, Diane Jett of Richmond and Lisa Lewis of Greenfield; brother, Harry Haynie of Topping; and two step-daughters, Kathy Steel of Maryland and Kim Ridgell of Maryland.
She was preceded in death by her son, Danny “Red” Hinson.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 2, at White Stone United Methodist Church.
