Sharon Baptist Church, 1413 Lumberlost Road, Weems, will celebrate Juneteenth at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 20. The drive-in service theme will be “Breaking every chain since 1865.” Exodus 3:7,9.
The program consists of statement of purpose, prayer drum beats, praise dance, oratorical speech, solo, duet, protest and Juneteenth signs, and Juneteenth co-sermons by Revs. Dale and Kim Bunns. Afrocentric attire is encouraged.
