JV Red Devils drop two games

Lancaster lost a pair of district junior varsity boys games last week to Westmoreland and Rappahannock.

The Eagles beat the Devils by 34 points, 54-24, on January 28 and the Raiders defeated LHS, 37-32, on January 31.

Westmoreland got nine points from Tahkaiden Brooks in the first quarter to take a 12-point lead after one and another 10 from Brooks in the third when the Eagles went on a 21-6 run to blow open a seven-point halftime advantage.

WHS outscored LHS, 35-8, in the second half and held the Devils to a lone field goal….
