Kandy for Kids ushers in Halloween

Ghouls, goblins, ballerinas, clowns and superheroes descended on Kilmarnock last Saturday as hundreds of costumed children enjoyed trick-or-treating along Main Street in the Steptoe’s District during the annual Kandy for Kids event. Sponsored by the town and the Lancaster By the Bay Chamber of Commerce, the event becomes more popular each year, with participating organizations and businesses distributing candy to trick-or-treaters from across the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.
