Lancaster High School distance runners Matthew Kane and Josh Woolard on Saturday, January 25, represented the Red Devils at the St. Christopher’s Indoor Track & Field Invitational in Richmond.
Kane led 40 runners to win the 1000 meter with a season best time of 2:35.24 and Woolard finished 12th, also with a season best time of 2:42.20.
Kane also placed seventh among 41 runners in the 1600 meter in 4:34.16. Woolard ran the race in 4:48.90.
Both LHS girls and boys teams will head to Virginia Beach Saturday, February 1, for the 757 Last Chance Meet.
