LIVELY—Kathy Mayor Allison, 66, of Lively passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side. She was a devoted wife and grandmother.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ricky Allison; her daughter, Emily Walker and husband Curtis; her granddaughter, Dallas Walker; and her sister, Nancy Stinson and husband Mark.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Henry and Geraldine Page Mayor; her sister, Rene Etheridge; and her brother, Joseph Mayor.
If you knew Kathy, you knew her favorite place was with her family and friends.
The family received friends Tuesday, October 14, at Currie Funeral Home in Kilmarnock. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, at Currie Funeral Home with interment following the service in the Bethel United Methodist Church cemetery in Lancaster.
A private reception will be held at a later date.
