Ryann Kenner, the daughter of Gentry Kenner and Jason Kenner, was presented the Chesapeake Academy Head of School Award during recent graduation exercises for the Class of 2024.
The Head of School Award (valedictorian) goes to the student from each graduating class with the highest grade point average at the end of the year.
“Ryann is thorough, conscientious and always responsible,” said head of school Trip Cogburn. “She is mature in her approach to her learning. She sets high expectations for herself and does not settle for less than excellence in her work. Across all disciplines, she brings a thoughtful, engaged demeanor, a curiosity and desire to do more–and a drive to out-do her own previous performance!”
