The Heathsville Farmers Market will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern (RHHT), 73 Monument Place, Heathsville.
The theme will be “Kids Day” and children and their favorite adults will be treated to a number of fun activities, reported RHHT director Corinne Becker.
The market offers fresh produce, meat, eggs, honey, fresh baked goods, fancy peanuts, wine tasting, plants, flowers, roasted coffee and handcrafts.
Kids’ activities will include making toy wooden boats, weaving on a loom, blacksmithing demonstrations, and quilting a mug rug, said Becker. There also will be corn hole games and a chance to “dig up the past” at a special archaeological….
