Kilmarnock Baptist welcomes new pastor

Rev. Dr. Kevin S. Crowder

Kilmarnock Baptist Church has called the Rev. Dr. Kevin S. Crowder to be its next pastor.

Excited to serve this historic congregation, Dr. Crowder expressed his enthusiasm for working with a community-driven congregation that regularly hosts Red Cross blood drives, a monthly Food Pantry, Meals on Wheels and other mission initiatives, reported Cindy Ferrell. He considers himself a dedicated listener who cares for his congregation and is looking forward to making home and hospital visits.

Dr. Crowder’s journey in preparation for ministry began at Ouachita Baptist University, where he earned a bachelor’s of church music. He then pursued a Master of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Following this, he completed two years of clinical training as a chaplain resident at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. This led him to lead the pastoral care department at Mary Washington….
