Kilmarnock council appoints Cunningham to complete unexpired term

KILMARNOCK—After decades of public service, Les Spivey recently resigned his position on Kilmarnock Town Council.

During a special called meeting on Thursday, January 16, council appointed Matt Cunningham to fill the vacant seat.

According to town clerk Cindy Balderson, Cunningham will serve an interim post until December 31, 2025.

Prior to discussion by council, Cunningham highlighted several characteristics he felt would positively contribute to town council.
