The Kilmarnock Farmers Market will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, September 23, at Town Centre Park, 150 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.
The market will offer farm-to-table and bay-to-table products, said special event coordinator Ashley Jones.
“The foot traffic has been amazing along with the community support,” said Jones. “We are already looking ahead to next year and how we can add to the already impressive market.”
Vendors will include Rivah Southern, spices, dry rubs, seasonings; Blenheim Organic Gardens, organic vegetables; Gregory Family Farms, lamb, chicken, beef; Great Harvest Bread Company, breads; Garner’s Produce, vegetables, herbs, fruits and plants; Brindle Bay Farm, pasture raised chicken eggs; Summer Duck Farm, pork; Mooch’s BBQ/Pig lotion BBQ sauce; Miss Mary Seafood, fresh shrimp, fish; and Cora Tiggle, home cooking.
Market hosts will offer a “hit list” of items presented by each vendor, she said. These items picked are popular for the season and are a must buy for being the best of the best. Please stop by the information table to grab a list of items.
“We will also have our cooler bags on sale for $10 at the information table,” Jones said.
