WHITE STONE—The Town of Kilmarnock and Lancaster County have officially proclaimed April as Global Volunteer Month and April 20–26 as National Volunteer Week, recognizing the contributions of volunteers who strengthen communities every day.
Volunteers play an essential role in supporting organizations and ensuring that residents can access a range of services and resources. Partner organizations across the region will host over 25 opportunities to celebrate volunteerism in honor of Global Volunteer Month throughout April, reported volunteer project coordinator Elizabeth Richardson.
