Kilmarnock pedals forward with plan for a bicycle park

KILMARNOCK—Plans for a new bike park in Kilmarnock are making headway following the town council’s approval of a $19,450 bid for a concept design from Avid Trails on Monday, April 21.

During her streets, sidewalks and parks committee report at the council meeting, chairman Alice Cooper highlighted the proposed concept design from Avid Trails. She said the bike park would be an addition to Town Centre Park.

According to the proposal, the bike park will be built within a 7.8-acre site and will incorporate fun and challenging options for riders of all skill….
