King William had three runners finish among the top five to score a team low 26 and win a five-school meet at Northumberland on Wednesday, October 15.
Cole Slater ran the 3.1-mile race in 17:37 to beat out a field of 35 in the boys race. Darius Jones of Middlesex was the runner-up with a time of 17:40 to lead the Chargers to second place in team scoring with 34 points. Rappahannock was third with 62, while Northumberland and Lancaster did not score as a team.
