Lancaster High School alumnus Matthew Kleinfelter etched his named in the athletic record books at James Madison University this year after setting a new school record for single game appearances on the mound. The right-handed pitcher from Lively appeared on the mound in 30 games for the Dukes.
“This was a good year,” he said. “I’ve gotten better and good enough to pitch at this level, so this year was a lot of fun instead of a lot of work. I had to work hard the first few years.”
JMU advanced to the Sun Belt Tournament in May 2023 for its best season….
