On Tuesday, June 1, the Kilmarnock United Methodist Church (KUMC) women and guests visited Historic Christ Church & Museum in Weems.
Costumed docents Marilyn Loomis and Betty Riley, a KUMC member, gave a delightful tour of the museum and church grounds. The church was completed in 1735 and is a national treasure both for its architectural quality and the state of its preservation. Historic Christ Church was designated a Registered National Historic Landmark by the U.S. Department of Interior in 1961.
