Lady Devils break even in Sussex County Invitational

Lancaster’s varsity girls basketball team won one and lost one in the four-team Surry County Invitational over the holiday break.

Sussex Central edged LHS, 50-45, in the opening game December 20 to pit the Lady Devils against Northampton on December 21. Lancaster won that game with ease, beating the Yellow Jackets, 56-17.

A’Nijah Ball scored the game high 27 points to lead LHS over Northampton. She had 10 of the Lady Devils’ 17 in the first quarter and finished with 15 in the first half to help LHS take a 32-6 lead ….
