Lancaster High School beat Northumberland High, 31-22, on January 27, avenging a two-point loss to the Indians two nights earlier and picking up its first Northern Neck District win in varsity girls basketball.
The Lady Devils are now 5-6 overall and 1-5 in the district with four games remaining in regular season play. Lancaster will visit Rappahannock tonight, February 1, and West Point Monday, February 5. The district tournament will start February 13 with the the top four teams advancing. Lancaster is in fifth place with three district games left.
