Lancaster Air Force JROTC lays wreath at Tomb of Unknown Soldier

The rain stopped and the clouds parted November 5 just as 26 Lancaster High School Air Force JROTC cadets and a crowd of about 75 stood silent for a ceremonial wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.

Four LHS JROTC cadets ascended the stairs with a guard and placed a wreath at the tomb draped in a banner that read “Lancaster High School.”

The LHS JROTC returned to the cemetery for a second straight year…
