The staff at Lancaster Community Library (LCL) has geared up to provide services to area citizens while the facility is closed in response to COVID-19.
Both the Virginia Library Association and the American Library Association have recommended closing all public libraries out of a concern for the health of citizens, said director Alice Cooper.
Meanwhile there are several ways to continue to use the services of the LCL. Keep up to date with the library by reading the Rappahannock Record; listening to local radio stations; “liking” LCL on Facebook (@lancastercommunitylibrary), Instagram (@lancasterlibrary); and perusing the webpage, lancasterlibrary.org.
