LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, June 21, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
In the case of Alkendra S. Coleman of Mollusk, given a deferred disposition on a felony for distributing to accommodate a Schedule I/II substance, a hearing is to be set July 27 as Coleman needed a change of attorney. Coleman also was charged with a felony for violating probation, and three felonies for failing to appear. An arraignment on those charges also was continued and to be set July 27.
In the case of Ashley M. Ball of Lancaster, charged with two misdemeanors for violating probation, a show cause hearing was continued by defense motion to September 6.
In the case of Karl N. Blackwell of Richmond, charged with two felonies for violating probation, a show cause hearing was scheduled for September 6.
James M. Veney of Newport News pleaded guilty to a felony for violating probation. A sentencing hearing was scheduled for….
