LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, January 17, with the Hon. William H. Shaw presiding.
In the case of Alkendra S. Coleman of Lancaster, charged with a felony for violating probation, probation was revoked and she was sentenced to four years, 11 months and five days, all of which were suspended. She was also ordered to pay $193 in court costs and to serve five years of probation.
Larry W. Hearn Jr. of Lancaster, charged with a felony for selling/distributing alprazolam, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of distributing to accommodate a Schedule I/II substance and sentenced to three years and six months, with six months suspended and six years of probation upon release. He also was ordered to pay $585 in court costs.
Hearn also was charged with four felonies and two misdemeanors for violating probation. He was found guilty on one of those felony charges and sentenced to 36 years, 35 of which were suspended, given three years probation upon release and ordered to pay $193 in court costs. The remaining probation violation charges were dismissed.
Five felony and two misdemeanor charges for failing to comply with pretrial conditions were dismissed and felonies for selling/distributing cocaine and unauthorized use of a vehicle were nolle prossed.
