LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, March 14, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.
In the case of Lionel L. Baker of Kilmarnock charged with two felonies for violating probation, probation was revoked on one charge and the other was dismissed. He was sentenced to 16 years and 11 months, all of which were suspended with 12 months of probation and $638 in court costs.
In the case of Kennie L. Belvin of Richmond, appealing a General District Court bond denial, bond was again denied.
In the case of Hannibal R. Tyler-El of Burgess, charged with felonies for driving while intoxicated, prior offense; and driving on a suspended license, second offense; bond was granted and a trial scheduled for May 16.
In the case of James M. Veney of Newport News, charged with a felony for violating probation, probation was revoked and he was ordered to pay $638 in court costs.
